Mayfeast will be celebrated next Sunday, May 21. Everyone is invited to our covered-dish lunch in the Family Life Center immediately following our worship service. Make plans to stay for lunch and bring plenty of food to share!

There will be a special church council next Sunday, May 21 during our worship service. This council will be for the election of the delegates for the 2018 Synod.

Friedberg’s Preschool will celebrate its 10th birthday on May 21, 2017 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the preschool area of the Family Life Center. You are invited to an Open House with current and past staff and preschool families and supporters for reminiscing, rejoicing and refreshments. We celebrate a ministry that has been a blessing to many and continues to feel God’s leading and embrace.

The senior choir will have a fellowship gathering at the home of Debbie 
Foltz on May 17 at 7:00 p.m. All choir members (and those that are interested in joining) are invited. Please bring your favorite finger foods.

Sunday, June 4, is Graduation Sunday where we will recognize all of our high school and college graduates. Please fill out a Graduate Information Form and turn it in along with a picture to the church office or to Jennifer Boles by Sunday, May 28. Forms can be found in the church office. Graduates and their families are also invited to breakfast on June 4 in the Family Life Center at 9:45 a.m.

SALEM BAND will present the 
STARSHINE 2017 Summer Concert Series, in Salem Square in Old Salem. The series opens on Tuesday, May 16 at 7:30 p.m. Salem Band will open its “Salem Shining Stars” summer season with trumpet soloist David Teague performing “Stardust.” “Star Trek,” “Star Wars,” Dixieland, Broadway, and Baroque will round out the program. All concerts are free. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Food vendors will be on site. Established in 1771, Salem Band is the oldest, continuous mixed wind ensemble in the nation and Eileen Young is the Music Director. The Mission Society invites you to their provincial Mission Awareness Dinner on Sunday, June 4 at Fairview Moravian. The meal (cost of $10) begins at 6:00 p.m., and includes a presentation from an adult mission team that recently traveled to Peru. Reservations are needed by May 30, sent to 
sbeaman@mcsp.org or (336)773-1732. There are 15 seats remaining on the bus for the trip to The Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter August 3-6.
